As a car ages, its paintwork can begin to breakdown if not properly protected. Paintwork can begin to breakdown when the surface of clear coat has been damaged, or the actual clear coat or top coat begins to deteriorate. Sun, salt, wind, water staining, pollutants, scratches, and machine marks can increase the rate of paint breakdown. A machine cut and buff polish will help to preserve and protect your paintwork.

Over time, the gradual build-up of surface contaminants can cause the paint on your vehicle to become dull and rough to touch. In order to remove surface contaminants that washing alone can’t remove, we use a process called clay blocking. Clay blocking will remove surface grime and give your paintwork a slick smooth finish.

Clay blocking does not polish your paintwork but thoroughly cleans it. This process also prepares your paintwork for further work, such as cut and polish if there is sub-surface damage or a gloss polish to give your paintwork its ultimate shine.

Most cars have plastic headlights which typically don’t hold up to weather and time. If continually exposed to sun and salt, plastic headlight lenses are more likely to become hazy. Fogging or yellowing of the headlight can dramatically decrease the distance and strength of the light being produced. This will reduce the reaction time a driver has to avoid possible collisions.
